A little history of the American brand Patriot

The emergence and establishment of the famous American company Patriot on the global market can be attributed to a classic story of development. Thus, numerous brands in the USA were formed, when all their activities originated in some garage, and the initial developments were created, one might say, on primitive homemade equipment by the founder himself. The founder of the Patriot company in 1973 was the American engineer Andy Johnson from the small town of Foxboro, Massachusetts. The main impetus for organizing his own business was his dismissal from his job at the technical bureau of an automobile company, which was a common phenomenon at that time, under the conditions of a crisis in the oil industry. 

In the early stages of its activity, Patriot conducted repairs and maintenance of garden equipment. In 1976, Johnson's company produced several types of lubricants under his own name, which gained enormous popularity. This success allowed the company to significantly expand its capabilities and turn new developments of economical engines for installation on garden equipment into reality. In 1991, the first samples appeared on the market of small agricultural machines, which immediately took the leading position.

All these successful implementations allowed the Patriot company to obtain the status of a solid firm and to engage in the independent manufacture of garden aggregates. Therefore, it is not surprising that among the numerous modifications of agricultural machines of this type, cultivators from this American brand are the most in demand. 

General technical specifications of the Patriot cultivator

The main purpose of the Patriot cultivator - is to loosen and till the soil on a garden plot. All actions this type of garden equipment performs easily thanks to the powerful gasoline engine installed on it and the two-speed transmission (one reverse gear).

All models of the Patriot cultivator have a relatively large soil capture level, indicating their high productivity combined with maneuverability and stability. In addition, the garden machine has a constructive feature allowing adjustment of the width of soil treatment, which enables cultivation of plots of both large and small areas. The steering adjustment system provides the technical capability to set its height for comfortable operation.

The most heavily loaded component in gasoline cultivators  is the chain reducer. To facilitate convenient technical maintenance of this important mechanism, the manufacturer made it disassemblable. To ensure easy and convenient control of the machine, all necessary technical elements such as switches, buttons, and levers are installed on the handles and near them.

The coulter installed on Patriot cultivators provides the operator with the ability to set the required depth for soil cultivation. The disc, by its design, allows it to easily handle virgin and compacted soil areas.
