Purpose: The new systemic fungicide Brandner is intended for preventive protection and treatment of a wide range of diseases affecting stems and leaves of cereal grass crops (septoria, powdery mildew, rust, fusarium, etc.), sunflower (false powdery mildew, fomosis, fomopsis, septoria, alternaria, etc.) and soybean (white rot, peronosporosis, alternaria, septoria, fomopsis, fusarium, etc.).

Action: The main components of the preparation are azoxystrobin (200 g/l) with systemic and translaminar action and tebuconazole (160 g/l) with systemic action. Azoxystrobin, after entering the plant, shows a pronounced antispore effect, blocking the germination of spores. Tebuconazole disrupts the biosynthesis of ergosterol and metabolism in pathogen cells, resulting in the loss of their biological-mechanical properties, which leads to the death of pathogens.

Application: Application of fungicide Brandner is allowed by ground and aerial methods. Treatment is recommended at the first signs of disease or under favorable weather conditions for pathogen development. Higher dosage is recommended for very dense plantings.

The optimal temperature range for spraying the preparation is from +15 to +25°С. Wind speed should not exceed 4-5 m/s. In most cases, two treatments are necessary during the vegetation period.

Optimal treatment periods

• Cereal grass crops: end of tillering phase — beginning of emergence into the stem (first treatment), appearance of flag leaf — beginning of heading (second);
• Sunflower: in the phase from 2 to 8 true leaves inclusive (first), bud stage (second);
• Soybean: from the appearance of the first trifoliate leaf to the pod formation stage (both treatments).

Advantages of the preparation: Fungicide Brandner is rapidly absorbed by plants, provides preventive effects, and effectively treats cereal grass crops, soybean, and sunflower from major diseases. Biological properties of the preparation ensure protective action for 4 weeks after application and contribute to extending the vegetation period of crops by blocking the formation of aging hormone. The fungicide, due to the combination of two components, does not induce resistance in pathogens and is non-phytotoxic to crops.

Compatibility: Brandner can be used in tank mixes with other pesticides, except those that cause strong acidic and strong alkaline reactions.
