The MTZ-82 rolled off the production line of the Minsk Tractor Plant, hence its second name — 'Belarus'. Although the first samples of this machinery were produced as early as 1978, for nearly 40 years these machines have been driving across fields and construction sites. Chassis

All main components of the tractor are mounted on a reinforced steel half-frame. The front axle is steerable and equipped with wheels of smaller radius. One of its features is telescopic booms, which allow adjusting the track width. There is an option for dual rear wheels, which significantly improves the machine's road grip and offers more capabilities.

Technical Specifications

For this tractor, four-stroke diesel engines D-240 and D-243 are used as power units. The engine's power is 81 hp, and it features vertically arranged cylinders. The displacement is 4.75 liters.

The transmission MTZ 82 is stepped. The transmission is mechanical, with a reduction gear that doubles the number of gears. There are 18 forward and 4 reverse speeds. The maximum speed this tractor can achieve is 33.4 km/hour.

To operate electrical devices, a constant 12 V voltage is required. For working with trailers, a separate hydraulic system is used. Hydraulics come in different types, and a specific type can be mounted according to customer request:

• MTZ-82 P. A model designed for work on rice fields. Higher ground clearance, additional side reducers.
• MTZ-92 N. A machine with a lowered center of gravity for work on slopes.
• MTZ-82 K. Similar to the previous model, but with increased stability.
