The plant has moderate cultivation requirements. It is sun-loving and drought-tolerant, necessitating planting sites with excellent sunlight and well-drained, gritty, or sandy soil. Moisture stagnation is lethal to the root system. Agrotechnical management includes minimal watering during the active growth phase, regular weeding, and sanitary pruning of spent flower heads to stimulate secondary blooming.
Among the potential challenges in cultivation, one should note the susceptibility to fungal diseases, such as powdery mildew or root rot, often caused by improper drainage. Among pests, crucifer flea beetles pose the greatest threat, as they are common to most members of the Brassicaceae family.
