Antirrhinum grosii is a rare herbaceous species belonging to the Plantaginaceae family. Unlike common ornamental snapdragons, this plant is a specialized endemic species that thrives in very specific environmental niches, largely found within the rugged landscapes of the Iberian Peninsula.

The plant originates from the limestone crags of Spain, where it has evolved to survive in nutrient-poor substrates. Its habitat is characterized by intense sunlight and high drainage, which has shaped the plant’s physiological response to moisture management and mineral uptake.
