Arabis nova

Arabis nova, commonly known as a type of rockcress, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Brassicaceae family. In an agronomic context, this species is valued for its hardiness and ability to thrive in challenging environmental conditions, particularly on rocky or nutrient-poor substrates where other crops fail to establish.

The plant originates from mountain and alpine regions of Europe and Asia. Its natural habitat is defined by rocky slopes and meadows with excellent drainage. Because of its native environment, it has evolved a high tolerance for temperature fluctuations and requires minimal human intervention once the root system is fully established in the target area.

Minimal fertilization is required, as excessive nitrogen levels can reduce the plant's structural integrity and winter hardiness.
