Salt-marsh wormwood (Artemisia salsoloides) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. The native range of this species extends across the arid and semi-arid regions of Central Asia and parts of Eastern Europe. It typically thrives in saline, stony, or sandy soil types. In agricultural practice, it is increasingly valued for its role in land reclamation, particularly in areas prone to desertification or severe soil degradation.
