Cretan arum

The Cretan arum (Arum creticum) is a perennial bulbous plant belonging to the Araceae family. This distinct species is widely appreciated in horticulture for its elegant, pale yellow to golden inflorescences and a pleasant, sweet fragrance, which sets it apart from other members of the genus that often have unpleasant odors.

Native to the eastern Mediterranean, specifically the island of Crete, as well as parts of Turkey and the Aegean islands, this plant is well-adapted to rocky, well-drained habitats.
