Haussknecht's spleenwort

Haussknecht's spleenwort (lat. Asplenium haussknechtii) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Aspleniaceae family. This species of fern is characterized by its elegant, delicate foliage and its natural adaptation to lithophytic habitats, making it a distinct representative of the fern world.

The plant originates from the mountainous regions of Western Asia, specifically found in parts of Iran. Its natural habitat consists of shady rock crevices and sheltered cliffs, where the microclimate provides the necessary moisture and coolness required for its physiological processes and successful spore development.
