Sentang

Azadirachta excelsa, commonly known as Sentang, is a significant tropical tree species belonging to the Meliaceae family. It is widely recognized in Southeast Asia for its rapid growth rate and its potential as a sustainable source of high-quality timber in tropical forestry.

The tree is native to regions such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It thrives in lowland tropical rainforests and requires a humid, warm climate to achieve its full growth potential, often reaching heights of up to 50 meters in natural forest conditions.
