Diaphanous barberry

Diaphanous barberry (Berberis diaphana) is a deciduous shrub belonging to the Berberidaceae family. It is a highly valued ornamental species recognized for its dense, spreading habit and its spectacular change of leaf color during the autumn season, transitioning from vibrant green to deep shades of red.

Originating from the mountainous regions of China, particularly Gansu Province, this species has successfully adapted to various temperate climates.
