Mustard spinach

Mustard spinach, scientifically classified as Brassica perviridis, is an annual leafy green vegetable belonging to the Brassicaceae family. This crop is a specialty hybrid that combines the nutritional density of traditional leafy greens with the rapid growth characteristics of the Brassica genus, making it a staple in modern market gardening.

Originating from East Asia, particularly Japan where it is commonly known as Komatsuna, this plant has gained international popularity due to its extreme versatility.
