Interrupted brome

Interrupted brome (Bromus interruptus) is an annual grass species belonging to the Poaceae family. Historically, this plant was frequently found as a commensal weed within cereal crops in Central England. It is a highly specialized plant species that has undergone significant decline in the wild, leading to extensive research regarding its habitat restoration and preservation.

The origin of the species is linked to the long-established agricultural practices of Western Europe.
