Henry's boxwood (Buxus henryi) is a distinct species of evergreen shrub belonging to the Buxaceae family. It is recognized for its unique, elongated foliage and dense, slow-growing growth habit, making it an excellent candidate for formal gardens, topiary, and structured landscape designs.
The plant originates from the mountainous regions of China. In its native habitat, it grows in understory conditions, which suggests a preference for partial shade and stable microclimates.
