The botanical signature of this plant lies in its leaves, which are tipped with long, transparent, hyaline hair-points. These specialized structures function as micro-condensers for atmospheric moisture, allowing the plant to remain hydrated during periods of limited rainfall.
In terms of agricultural and horticultural management, the species requires specific environmental controls.
