Moesian mouse-ear (Cerastium moesiacum) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Caryophyllaceae family. This species is widely recognized in specialized landscaping and horticulture as a robust groundcover plant, valued for its ability to thrive in challenging conditions such as rocky outcrops and poor soil, creating stable vegetation mats.

The plant originates from the mountainous regions of the Balkan Peninsula.
