Silver Torch Cactus

The Silver Torch Cactus (Cleistocactus strausii) is a perennial succulent plant belonging to the Cactaceae family. Native to the mountainous regions of Bolivia and Argentina, it is widely recognized for its striking, column-shaped stems densely covered in fine, silvery-white spines, giving the plant its distinctive appearance.

In its natural habitat, the plant grows at high altitudes, which dictates its preference for intense light and well-draining, rocky soil conditions.
