Golden cleome

Golden cleome (Cleome chrysantha) is a herbaceous annual plant belonging to the Cleomaceae family. This species is known for its adaptation to arid environments and distinctive yellow flowers, which set it apart from other members of the genus commonly grown in temperate ornamental gardens.

The native range of this species covers the arid regions of North-East Africa and parts of the Arabian Peninsula. It thrives in desert and semi-desert habitats, often found in wadis where it can utilize deep soil moisture during the transition between extreme drought cycles.
