Ctenanthe (Ctenanthe hybrids) is a decorative ornamental plant belonging to the Marantaceae family. These perennials are widely cultivated for their highly patterned, variegated foliage, which makes them a staple in the indoor plant industry and specialized greenhouse production.

The plant originates from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, primarily Brazil. In horticultural practice, these hybrids are grown exclusively as containerized plants because they require a highly stable, humid environment that mimics their natural understory habitat to thrive and maintain their decorative characteristics.
