Altai daphne

Altai daphne (Daphne altaica) is a deciduous perennial shrub belonging to the Thymelaeaceae family. It is recognized for its unique aesthetic appeal and its ability to thrive in challenging environmental conditions, making it a sought-after species for specialized ornamental gardening.

The plant originates from the mountainous regions of the Altai and neighboring areas in Central Asia. Its natural habitat includes rocky slopes and high-altitude forest edges.
