It is highly valued in horticulture for its remarkable ability to produce fragrant blooms in successive flushes throughout the growing season, typically starting in late spring and extending into the autumn months.

Botanically, this cultivar is a compact, dense-growing plant, usually reaching a height of 60 to 90 centimeters. Its foliage is leathery and deep green, often remaining persistent through moderate winters. The structure of the shrub is naturally well-rounded, requiring little to no pruning to maintain an attractive, tidy shape.

In terms of cultivation, Daphne transatlantica thrives in well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soils. It prefers a position in partial shade, particularly in regions with intense summer heat, to prevent scorching of the leaves. Proper soil aeration is essential, as the roots are highly sensitive to waterlogging and soil compaction.

Agricultural practices should focus on providing consistent moisture without saturation.
