It primarily thrives in lowland dipterocarp forests and occasionally in secondary forests, flourishing in humid environments with distinct wet and dry seasons, typically at elevations ranging from sea level to 1,000 meters.
Botanically, the tree can reach heights of up to 30 meters with a spreading, dense canopy. Its leaves are pinnate, providing a deep green aesthetic, while its small, white or pinkish flowers appear in terminal panicles.
