Hop bush

Dodonaea stenozyga, commonly known as a type of hop bush, is an evergreen shrub belonging to the Sapindaceae family. It is recognized for its exceptional resilience in arid environments and is valued for its unique foliage and structure in specialized garden settings.

The species is native to the arid and semi-arid zones of Australia. It is highly adapted to surviving in harsh environments, often found in rocky, sandy, or gravelly soils where water availability is consistently low.
