Euclea crispa

Euclea crispa, commonly known as the Blue Guarri, is a hardy, evergreen shrub or small tree belonging to the Ebenaceae family. Renowned for its resilience, this species is a prominent member of the scrubland and woodland vegetation in its native habitats.

The plant originates from Southern and Eastern Africa, where it thrives in a variety of environments, ranging from rocky hillsides to open grasslands. Its distribution across diverse climatic zones demonstrates its remarkable adaptability to environmental stress, particularly fluctuating rainfall patterns.
