Chewing's fescue

Chewing's fescue (Festuca nigrescens) is a perennial grass species belonging to the Poaceae family. It is a subspecies of the red fescue complex, highly regarded in both agriculture and landscaping for its dense growth habit, fine texture, and ability to thrive in diverse soil conditions.

Native to Europe, this grass has established itself across various temperate regions globally.
