Small-flowered Gagea

Small-flowered Gagea (Gagea micrantha) is a perennial bulbous plant belonging to the Liliaceae family. Recognized as a typical spring ephemeroid, it completes its life cycle within a few weeks during the early spring period, taking advantage of the available soil moisture and light before the summer dormancy phase begins.

The species is native to diverse temperate regions across Eurasia. In its natural habitat, it thrives in meadows, rocky slopes, and open woodlands.
