Threeteeth broom (Genista tridentata), formerly classified as Chamaespartium tridentatum, is a perennial shrub belonging to the Fabaceae family. It is distinctively recognized by its flattened, winged stems that bear three teeth at the edges, acting as an adaptation to minimize water loss in arid environments.
The native range of this species is centered in the Iberian Peninsula, specifically across Portugal and northwestern Spain.
