Silver linden

Silver linden (Tilia tomentosa) is a prominent deciduous tree species belonging to the Malvaceae family. It is highly valued in horticulture for its distinct silvery-white underside of the leaves, which creates a striking contrast against the dark green canopy during breezy weather, adding significant aesthetic value to parks and gardens.

This species is native to Southeastern Europe and Asia Minor, particularly common in the Balkan region and Hungary.
