Beach morning glory

The beach morning glory (Ipomoea pes-caprae) is a perennial creeping vine belonging to the Convolvulaceae family. It is a highly specialized halophyte, widely recognized for its ability to thrive in harsh coastal environments where salinity, intense sunlight, and shifting sands limit the growth of other plant species.
