Jurinea cretacea, commonly known as chalk-loving jurinea, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. This species is specifically adapted to the challenging environmental conditions of chalk outcrops, where it demonstrates remarkable survival traits in low-nutrient, alkaline substrates that are often inhospitable to standard crops.
