Kochia (Kochia scoparia) is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Amaranth family (Amaranthaceae). Widely recognized for its rapid growth and distinctive, dense, cypress-like appearance, this plant has become a popular subject for both agricultural research and ornamental landscape design.
The species originated in the regions of Europe and Asia. Its natural range encompasses vast areas of arid and semi-arid environments, demonstrating its significant ecological resilience.
