Chenault privet

Chenault privet (Ligustrum chenaultii) is a semi-evergreen to evergreen shrub belonging to the Oleaceae (Olive) family. This specific hybrid cultivar is highly valued in horticulture for its dense growth habit, fine texture, and exceptional versatility as an ornamental plant in diverse garden settings.

Originally derived from species native to East Asia, this plant has been refined through cultivation to thrive in various temperate climates. It is widely used across North America and Europe, where it is appreciated for its resilience and ability to withstand urban environmental stressors.
