Spreading loosestrife (Lysimachia procumbens) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Primulaceae family. Originating from South America, the plant is naturally adapted to wetlands, riverbanks, and areas with high soil moisture. Botanically, the plant is characterized by its prostrate stems that spread horizontally along the soil surface.
