Silky spike-melic

Silky spike-melic (Melica racemosa) is a perennial grass species belonging to the Poaceae family. It is a distinctive member of the Melica genus, recognized for its unique, elegant inflorescences and robust growth habit, which make it a valuable plant in both naturalistic and managed environments.

The origin of this species is linked to the temperate zones of Eurasia.
