Othonna lobata

Cultivation techniques are based on mimicking the plant's natural habitat. It requires a light, porous substrate with a high content of mineral components such as coarse sand or gravel. A crucial aspect of care is water management: during the active growth phase, watering should be moderate, whereas, during the dormant period, irrigation must be almost entirely suspended to prevent rot of the caudex.
