Rock stonecrop (Petrosedum rupestre) is a perennial succulent plant belonging to the Crassulaceae family. The species originates from Central and Southern Europe. It is naturally adapted to rocky terrain and limestone cliffs. The plant features succulent, needle-like blue-green leaves arranged on trailing stems. Its vegetative structure is optimized for water retention. Agronomic requirements are centered on excellent drainage and full sun exposure. It is highly sensitive to waterlogging, which necessitates cultivation on sandy or gravelly soil profiles.
