Salmon Polemonium

Salmon Polemonium (Polemonium carneum) is a herbaceous perennial plant belonging to the Polemoniaceae family. It is widely recognized for its distinctive, bell-shaped flowers which display soft shades ranging from pale pink to a unique salmon-orange hue, setting it apart from the more common blue-flowering species of the genus.

The native habitat of this plant is located along the Pacific Northwest of North America, particularly in regions of Oregon and California. Being adapted to moist, forested environments, the plant thrives in conditions that mimic the dappled light and consistent humidity of its native forest floors, making it an excellent candidate for woodland gardens in similar climatic zones.

Botanically, the plant features upright, leafy stems that reach heights of 40 to 80 centimeters. The leaves are pinnately compound, forming a lush basal rosette.
