Carinthian buttercup

Carinthian buttercup (Ranunculus carinthiacus) is a herbaceous perennial plant belonging to the Ranunculaceae family. Native to the mountainous regions of Central Europe, this species is well-adapted to the specific ecological niches found in alpine and subalpine meadows, where it thrives in relatively harsh conditions.

The botanical structure of this plant consists of a strong root system and erect stems reaching a height of 20–50 cm. The leaves are typically palmately divided with distinct lobes, providing a dense foliage carpet. The hallmark of the species is its vibrant yellow, glossy flowers, which bloom in late spring and early summer, attracting numerous pollinators to its natural habitat.
