Illyrian buttercup

The Illyrian buttercup (Ranunculus illyricus) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Ranunculaceae family. Unlike many other members of the genus that prefer moist environments, this species is uniquely adapted to drier habitats, making it a distinct subject within the group of meadow and steppe perennials.
