Pond water-crowfoot

The pond water-crowfoot (Ranunculus peltatus) is a perennial aquatic plant belonging to the Ranunculaceae family. Unlike standard agricultural crops, this species is a true hydrophyte, perfectly adapted to live submerged or floating in freshwater environments, which makes it a unique object of interest for aquatic management.

The natural range of Ranunculus peltatus extends throughout Europe, Northern Africa, and parts of the Middle East.
