Rion's buttercup

Rion's buttercup (lat. Ranunculus rionii) is a distinct species of aquatic annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Ranunculaceae family. Unlike its terrestrial relatives, this species has evolved as a hydrophyte, perfectly adapted to live in freshwater environments, where it plays a significant role in maintaining the biological balance of shallow water bodies.
