Keisuke Rhododendron

Keisuke Rhododendron (Rhododendron keiskei) is an evergreen or semi-evergreen shrub belonging to the Ericaceae family. This ornamental species is highly prized in horticulture for its compact growth habit and its distinctive, early-season bloom.

Native to Japan, the plant originates from mountainous forests and rocky slopes. It has successfully been introduced into temperate climates worldwide, provided that its specific habitat requirements—characterized by cool, humid air and consistent soil acidity—are met.
