Chinese madder

Chinese madder (Rubia chinensis) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Rubiaceae family. This crop is primarily cultivated for its medicinal properties, specifically focused on the chemical composition of its root system, which has been utilized in traditional medicine for centuries.
