This plant is widely recognized for its dense, bright green foliage and intense, spicy fragrance that is released when the leaves are crushed. It is a popular choice for herb gardens and Mediterranean-style landscapes.

Native to the Mediterranean region, this plant naturally thrives in rocky, arid environments with high sunlight exposure.
