Satranala (Latin: Satranala decussilvae) is a rare and unique genus of palm tree belonging to the Arecaceae family. This monotypic genus is highly regarded by botanists due to its limited distribution and distinct biological characteristics. It is a majestic, tree-like palm that serves as a prime example of the rich endemic biodiversity found on the island of Madagascar.

The origin of this culture is strictly associated with the eastern tropical rainforests of Madagascar.
