Searsia burchellii

Searsia burchellii is a perennial woody shrub belonging to the Anacardiaceae family. Previously classified under the genus Rhus, this species has been reclassified to better reflect its botanical lineage. Native to Southern Africa, this plant is naturally adapted to the arid and semi-arid regions of the Cape.
