This species is native to regions characterized by arid or semi-arid conditions, specifically throughout the Caucasus, Central Asia, and parts of Eastern Europe. Its natural habitat includes steppe environments, rocky slopes, and disturbed areas where it has adapted to survive with minimal precipitation.
