Bermudiana

Bermudiana (Sisyrinchium bermudianum) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Iridaceae family. While not a conventional crop for large-scale agriculture, it is highly valued in ornamental horticulture and specialized gardening for its elegant form and vibrant, star-shaped blue or violet flowers.

Originating from the Bermuda Islands and parts of North America, this plant has adapted to various temperate climates. Its natural habitat includes damp meadows and forest clearings, which defines its requirements when introduced into human-managed garden environments or small-scale specialized production.

The botanical structure of Bermudiana consists of tufted, grass-like leaves and distinct thin stems that reach a height of approximately 20 to 40 centimeters.
