Small-leaf globemallow (lat. Sphaeralcea parvifolia) is a perennial herb or subshrub belonging to the mallow family (Malvaceae). Known for its resilience in arid environments, this species is highly valued for its ability to thrive in harsh, desert-like conditions where few other plants can survive.

The plant originates from the deserts and arid regions of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. In its natural habitat, it typically grows on rocky slopes, canyon walls, and gravelly washes. This geographical distribution defines its specific requirements for high sun exposure and minimal moisture, reflecting its adaptation to a semi-arid climate.
