Alpine woundwort

Alpine woundwort (Stachys alpina) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family. It is recognized for its ecological resilience and specific morphological features, such as dense pubescence and showy inflorescences. The plant originates from the mountainous regions of Europe and the Caucasus. While the plant is hardy, it requires protection from excessive summer heat and prolonged waterlogging, which can cause root rot.
